  • Hey! I am so excited that we will be working together. This page is your personalized portal for us to share video, notes, and resources. If you’d like a very brief video tour, here you go!

    The first thing you’ll see in your portal is the Action Items section. Those are the things you and I have talked through for you to be working on.

    You already found the Resources section. The Throwing and Communication tabs are there for you to reference, and it’ll likely that we will engage with them directly at some point. The Session Log tab is where all the notes and videos of our calls we have together will live. And of course the Strength + Conditioning tab sends your straight to Brian Nevison’s excellent care and training, while the Mental Performance tab will get you started on training your brain with Spiral Mental Performance.

    You’ll find the link to the CHUCC Community Discord—a place for you and your fellow players and coaches to ask questions, bounce ideas off of each other, and just generally geek out about ultimate together.

    If I ever ask you to send me film, please use the Film / Notes Sharing form. You can upload videos or send me links. Feel free to send anything that’s on your mind, even if we haven’t talked about it yet.

  • Ultimate is a skill sport, and there’s no skill more critical than throwing. Throw literally every day if you can—even 10 minutes of tossing a disc into the other couch across your living room is better than nothing.

  • Being able to communicate is a highly underrated skill. If you are a strong communicator, you can ask better questions, understand and implement feedback more quickly and fully, and be the best teammate you can be—something every team is looking for.

  • This is where recordings of your calls with me will go, and any notes we take. If you would like to include any notes / videos you have in this section, send them to me using the sharing form on this page and let me know that you want them to appear here.

  • Getting stronger, faster, quicker and more explosive are important parts of your development. So is staying healthy over the long grind of the season. I’m no expert in this, but my partner Brian Nevison is a strength and conditioning coach who focuses on ultimate-specific training.   • Playing with confidence leads to playing more consistently and being better prepared for the clutch moments, while avoiding performance anxiety and burnout. That being the case, mental wellbeing is a huge part of your development as a player, or on your team’s on-field play.
